Ginataang Lutya with String Beans and Alugbati
Hi guys! Cooked this for lunch today. Had to share because it's so good. I haven't been using fresh coconut milk from the market because of the circumstances these days so I tried using Coco Mama and I love it!
Ingredients
Olive Oil
Garlic
Onions
Ginger
Red and Green Bell Pepper
Spring Onions
Tanlad (Lemongrass)
Tomatoes
String Beans
Lutya
Sili
Alugbati
Coconut Milk
Water
Salt
Pepper
Instructions
In a pan, heat olive oil. Sauté garlic, onions, ginger, lemongrass, red and green bell pepper and tomatoes for about 3-4 minutes. Add lutya. Mix well. Add water. When lutya is almost cooked, add string beans. Season with salt and pepper. Add sili. Mix well. When lutya and string beans are already cooked, add alugbati and spring onions. Add coconut milk then turn off heat.
Do a taste test to know if you still need to add more salt and pepper.
Serve hot with white rice.
